The problem is, is free really worth it? Will free put money in your pocket? I for one would be the first to tell you there is a place for free but the old axiom "you get what you pay for" is still true when it comes to the internet.

The next step would be to obtain the domain name CheapCatToys.com. That way you will have picked a domain name that is already a highly searched for. This will almost guarantee you quite a bit of free, highly targeted, traffic.

• 2. If all of your marketing efforts are going to be online I wouldn't worry too much about the extension, however you should always try to get one of the top 3, .com, .net, or .org. If all of your marketing efforts are with PPC or article marketing so no one really needs to type in your domain name, they just click on a link which is in your articles. This makes the extension that you pick of less relevance. If you are going to be marketing in such a way that people would have to actually type in the domain name to find your site, then you want to get a .com first and foremost and secondly a.net extension. .
